[NEW] Rhode Island Veterans’ Benefits Poster DOWNLOAD

A new workplace compliance requirement is on the horizon for Rhode Island businesses. Senator Elaine Morgan’s veterans’ benefits poster bill (2024-S 2128) has officially passed the Senate, bringing a new posting mandate for employers with 50 or more employees.

This poster, once released, will provide veterans with essential information on available benefits, including:

  • Mental health and substance abuse treatment

  • Educational, workforce, and training resources

  • Tax benefits and state-issued veteran IDs

  • Unemployment insurance eligibility

  • Legal services and VA contact details

The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, in collaboration with the Office of Veterans Services, will be responsible for designing and distributing the poster. The goal? To ensure veterans have easy access to the benefits they’ve earned through their service.
